Book Review: Thankful by Eileen Spinelli
Thankful is written by Eileen Spinelli and illustrated by Archie Preston. It is published by Zonderkidz.
I was tickled to get a chance to review Eileen Spinelli's new picture book on this theme of thankfulness. In today's society, being thankful from the heart seems to be getting put on the back burner as of late.
This books is filled with adorable illustrations in full color that give kids a living picture of what being thankful looks like. It's being thankful in everyday situations for everyday things.
Children will love the way the thankful story plays out, how it shows kids and those close to them as being the players in it. I love that it is a simple story with a huge message to each one of us.
The book is not overly large, as most picture books seem to be. This one is about 8" x 10 1/2".
I think this is a great autumn book that many will like. I know I do.
*I received a copy of Thankful in exchange for my honest opinion.*
