I didn't get much done this week due to an annoying physical ailment combined with having company for a visit. My brother and his children came for a nice week-long visit, which I very much enjoyed. If I had felt well, it would have been even better. The weather was frigid with some snow. We expect that this time of year, but don't particularly enjoy it. Our 16-year-old son went on a long walk with my brother one day and they suddenly found themselves in a snowstorm. It took them forever to return and I got a little worried. They arrived safe and sound, however, but cold. As they had a cell phone with them, they weren't in imminent danger, but still........
I am running on empty with menu plans lately. I receive e-mails from Taste of Home and was pleased to find some ideas for left-over Easter ham. We not only had baked ham for Easter, but roast chicken too (my daughter and my son's fiancee both hate ham). So, here's what I'm tentatively planning for the week.
Monday
Scalloped Potatoes
Left-over Corn
Left-over Green Bean Casserole
Dinner Rolls
Left-over Pies and Pumpkin Roll
Tuesday

Wednesday

Thursday

Family visits are the greatest. We weren't able to make that work this year and that means a lot of extra ham. I'll be checking that Website for recipe ideas.
