Book Review - One Lost Sheep by Rhonda Gowler Greene and Margaret Spengler

One Lost Sheep is written by Rhonda Gowler Greene, illustrated by Margaret Spengler, and published by Zonderkidz.

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading through One Lost Sheep tonight. As you might guess, the story is a retelling of the parable about the shepherd who loses one sheep and goes after it, bringing it back to join the remaining 99. Throughout this story, the shepherd is looking all over the place, in awkward places, and everywhere, for that one lost sheep. The joy he feels when he finally finds that lost sheep is nothing less than ecstatic. The moral of this story, as is that of the parable Jesus told, is that God loves his children and watches over them.

This is a beautifully illustrated book. Children from ages 4-8 will love it, but so will mommies and daddies, and other people in your child's life.

*I received a copy of One Lost Sheep in exchange for my honest review. Opinions expressed are my own.*
