It continues to snow here in the northern end of Michigan - no kidding. Sunday is Easter and I can guarantee you that we ladies will not be wearing frilly Easter dresses and white shoes. Instead, we will be decked in our best winter coats, just like we are every year. I yearn for warmer weather and southerly breezes. I miss our beautiful springs and summers, along with the dark, rich ground and accompanying gardens, of Indiana. Since there isn't a lot we can do to change things right now, I will try to make the best of it by snuggling in a blanket and dreaming of better days ahead. And since Easter is all about the One who really CAN change things, I will celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Here's what I have planned for the menu this week:
Monday
Mashed Potatoes
Corn
Tuesday
Tacos
Salads
Wednesday
Oven-fried Chicken
Baked Potatoes
Peas
Thursday
Jeff's Cooking (GASP!)
Friday
Pizza & Pop
Saturday
Burgers
French Fries
Salads
Resurrection Sunday
Baked Ham
Broccoli & Cheese Sauce
Mashed Potatoes
Green Bean Casserole
Deviled Eggs
Dinner Rolls
Custard Pie
Relish Tray filled with veggies
