If you read Heaven is for Real, you will remember little Colton Burpo, a pastor's son who, at the age of three had surgery - and later claimed that he went to Heaven and back. Following the success of that book, the Burpos have gone on to write a devotional based upon Heaven and all that eternity means.
There are fifty inspirational readings in Heaven Changes Everything. Along with the readings are insights from the authors, who, themselves, went through a bunch of difficult experiences. It is well grounded in Scripture and is well-written and thoughtful.
We all have our doubts, fears, insecurities. When you live with Heaven and eternity in mind, you look at those doubts, fears, and insecurities in a new light. You begin to have real, lasting peace.
This is a perfect book to use in personal devotion time (or family devotions) during the post election time. You may be fearful of the future - don't be! God is sovereign and He has it all in control. He is faithful to keep you in the folds of His wings. Heaven is waiting, and wow! What a place it is!
