We had a great week in Michigan's Upper Peninsula last week. We got to show our two youngest children Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore Campground and the exact campsite we used to take their older brothers. My husband and children went fishing on Au Train Lake nearly every morning and evening. We visited numerous falls - Au Train Falls, Wagner Falls, Laughing Whitefish Falls, and Horseshoe Falls. We visited good friends and had a guided tour of some of Escanaba. We visited the huge park in Escanaba, situated on Lake Michigan. We shopped in Marquette.
Now, it's back to work, homeschool, and reality in general. The first thing I had to do when we got back home was get groceries. Ugh. Talk about reality - it cost me $158.00. I don't know if it's just me or not, but grocery prices seem to do nothing but climb. If we didn't have stuff from our garden put up for winter, I don't know how we'd survive.
