Happy Labor Day! Labor Day is not really a welcome holiday in our household as it is in many others. For us, it ushers in the end of the good summer sales for my husband, and the lean fall, winter, and spring months. The upside is that my husband will begin working far fewer hours, and thus better get his rest, now that kids go back to school and summer vacations halt (for consumers). Today, I am going to see my sister and her boyfriend off as they travel back to Indiana - then I will get straight to work canning some tomatoes we found at farmer's market on Saturday.
Here's the menu for the week:
Monday
Spaghetti and Meatballs
Green Beans with Bacon
Salads
Tuesday
Fresh Fruit
Wednesday
Gluten-Free Waffles
Thursday
Meat Loaf
Mashed Potatoes
Veggies
Friday
Pizza & Pop
Saturday
Salads
Fruit
Sunday
On Your Own

I love Apple Crisp! It's one of my very favorite desserts. Sounds like a delicious menu plan!
