I received a free sample of dog food and had to make a decision - which dog was going to get the pleasure of devouring it? I ended up choosing Shadow, our 11-year-old black Labrador Retriever. We bought Shadow in Florida when she was a wee puppy. She became our oldest son's dog but, when he got too busy with college and other pursuits, we found she was ours. Does this sort of thing happen to other families? Ha! Anyway, Shadow has always had a wonderful personality and we love her. So.....she got the goodie bag from Nutrish.
Rachael Ray Nutrish just 6 dry dog food is made by leaders in the food industry. We've all heard of Rachael Ray because she's such a great whiz in the kitchen, for humans anyway. Her food and recipes are quality and I expected her dog food brand to be so as well. I am not disappointed. Here's what I've learned about Nutrish Just 6::
It is made with six ingredients (and a whole bunch of vitamins and minerals). There is NO soy, wheat or corn used. The Lamb Meal and Brown Rice Formula contains: Lamb Meal, Brown Rice, Ground Rice, Dried Beet Pulp, Poultry Fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), Natural Chicken Flavor, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Choline Chloride, Vitamin E Supplement, Zinc Sulfate, Ferrous Sulfate, L-Ascorbyl-2-Polyphosphate (Source of Vitamin C), Niacin, Manganese Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, D-Calcium Pantothenate, Biotin, Sodium Selenite, Vitamin A Supplement, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (source of vitamin K activity), Vitamin B12 Supplement, Potassium Iodide, Cobalt Sulfate, Folic Acid.
Below is a picture of Shadow enjoying her meal:
She ate the whole bowlful in less than a minute, I think. Then she started looking all over for more. I'm glad I could make her so happy!
Wondering where to buy Rachael Ray Nutrish just 6 dry dog food or any of the Nutrish formulas? It's found at my local Wal-mart as well as several other stores in my area. Check out the store locator to find a store in your town. You can also request a free sample and then do a little taste test with your own pet.

OOOh! I need to look into this dog food. My mom's dog has allergies and cannot eat food with wheat in it. She had no problem eating whatever's put in front of her, but the other dog hates the new dog food that they have to share. Perhaps they both would appreciate this instead.
