Menu Plan Monday is always found at Organizing Junkie. You won't believe how many blogs are linking up these days. It's amazing!
We spent the weekend with good friends to do some mushroom (morels) hunting in our north woods. Together, we collected somewhere close to 320 morels - mostly black but a few whites and grays. I am not a mushroom fan, but these work well dehydrated and crumbled into homemade cream of mushroom soup.
Here's our plan for the week:
Monday
Grilled Chicken Salads
Baked Potatoes
Zucchini Saute
Tuesday
Sloppy Joe
Wednesday
Chicken & Dumplings (from freezer)
Cheese Omelets
Strawberry Smoothies
Thursday
Cheeseburger Macaroni Casserole
Green Beans Peasant Style
(we use vinegar instead of wine in above recipe)

Friday
Pizza & Pop
Saturday
Potato Soup
Hamburgers
Tossed Salads
Sunday
On Your Own

Good you found lots of mushrooms! No one around here that I know has found much of any this year. Your green beans pheasent style looks amazing and I sure could use another good recipe for green beans. However, I may have to scale the portion size a bit from 7 servings to a bit less for just the 2 of us. Hope to get many beans from the garden this year but, if it don't stop raining long enough, it don't look good for dad and his garden. I was lucky and got a row and one half planted here. Dad says maybe next week. It will be late beans but it will be better than no beans.
I love cheese omelets! :)
