Book Review - Eat Your Peas Daughter by Cheryl and Mom Karpen

I got this book, Eat Your Peas Daughter: A Little Wisdom and a Lasting Promise by Cheryl and Mom Karpen (Thomas Nelson Publishers) today, and I devoured it until I was finished. I think this is the fastest I've ever read a book.

Before you begin to think this is a magnificent novel or fairy tale, read on.

Eat Your Peas Daughter is a gift book for a mom to give her daughter. It is filled with pages that have only one or two sentences on each page. It wasn't hard to get through quickly.

This is a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful book. Its pages remind me of wall paper, thick and luxurious. It's colorful. The best thing about it, however, is that the words are beautiful. Take, for instance, "God gave me a daughter to brighten up my world. To this day, it is full of sunshine because of you." Isn't that a lovely thing to say to your daughter?

I would buy this book for my own daughter as a keepsake. It is something that is meant to be picked up, read, and reminded of the love of a mother's heart. I just love it.

**I received a complimentary copy of Eat Your Peas Daughter in exchange for my honest review. The opinions expressed in this review are my own.**
