I'm thinking I need a vacation right now. Last week I canned up 35 quarts of peaches in one day. I was exhausted. Tonight I'm canning crushed tomatoes. I have no idea how many I'll get but I know one thing: I'm not doing them in one day! My heart is screaming, "I need a vacation!"
I have my hotel picked out.
Now, I'm hoping I might win a free weekend stay at Hampton via Hampton Chain of Friends Sweepstakes. We have one close by and my dream vacation is one in which I spend a weekend all by myself at a nice hotel, such as this one. I will stay pretty much in my comfortable room, with my laptop, writing and finishing up the novel I've been working on for the last four years.
Every day until September 4, Hampton is giving away weekend stays for the winner and three friends. I guess I could think of someone to share the relaxation, provided they be quiet. I say that tongue in cheek. Friends are very important and I love my circle of friends deeply. I'd have a tough time choosing who I'd take along.
You could win as well as me. The grand prize is even better than the weekend stay - you could win an entire hotel for a weekend, rather than simply one room. How cool is that? I think I'd have a class reunion or something if I was going to have that much room..........just thinking.
