I just want to warn everyone again about the dangers of printing coupons off the internet. I took a perfectly legitimate coupon (a Smartsource coupon from International Delight's own fan page on Facebook) to Walmart tonight. It was scrutinized and had to be approved by a manager. Of course it was okay and I was allowed to use it.Here's what's causing the trouble: Someone has circulated a PDF file with a printable coupon for a free brick of Velveeta cheese. Our Walmart had several go through the checkout lines today.
PLEASE, do not print coupons from PDF files. They are almost always fake coupons and they are illegal. If you use them and are caught, you could pay some really stiff fines. Worse, your testimony is taken down and you end up very embarrassed.
As always, err on the side of caution. If it looks to be shady, it probably is.

Oh wow, I have never heard of coupons in PDF files. Thanks for the warning. I know I used about 80 coupons on Saturday. Most were from the companies sites or coupon bug etc. But still crazy. I know I had to get one coupon verified at Walmart it was one Velvetta put out for a free bag of chips when you purchased velvetta and rotel. Like you they let me use it.
Yes Walmart has gotten wise to the fraudulent couponers here also. It can cause a hassle for those of us that are honest. Luckily I know so many of the employees at our Walmart, so I don't have these problems.
