I have one college student and another one sitting out a couple of semesters while he focuses in on which school to attend - and what course of study to pursue. In this tough economy, it's difficult to decide what career is the best one to choose and, even if you do choose a good school (and get accepted, of course) how to get the tuition.
Service jobs are always in demand, so the culinary arts are a good option. As far as getting the tuition money, culinary schools are available. Northwest Culinary Institute, is one of many schools that offers financial aid, housing and scholarships.
If you're a high school senior or have been out of school for a while and are looking for a career change, it might be a good idea to consider the culinary arts.
