The victory is won in Jesus and I am SO thankful tonight that I know Him.
There's not a soul in this world who has to live a defeated life, yet a great deal choose to do so. Oh, if only they knew that "Jesus saves, Jesus saves." (Priscilla J. Owens) I don't know about you, but I'm SO looking forward to life forever with Jesus, the perfect Savior.
This week I am thankful for:
- The good time we had with friends at open house #1. Open house #2 will be next month in Indiana. I don't like to entertain guests - I'm horrible at it. I spent far too much time worrying about this party than was necessary, as usual, and far too little time praying about it. God took care of everything anyway and all went very well.
- The rain and warmer weather. I am getting a few things harvested and other plants are beginning to grow again. We do have a problem with potato beetles, though. I am a stickler about not wanting to use chemicals on our garden so I may just have to let them run their course. We'll see.
- Praise the Lord for a tad bit over $100 above and beyond the money needed for Mombasa, Kenya! Our teens and adults heading over there next Wednesday needed a grand total of $52,000 and they raised something like $52,117. God is SO GOOD! Is this affirmation that they must go or what?

I as well spend way too much time stressing about entertaining. Must remember to let go and let God:)

Me too! Neat list for this week. Hugs as always. Happy TT.
Praise God for that fund raised for the mission trip :) God is really good! That's victory I must say..
Such a fantastic list of blessings.
God IS good..amen amen amen sis.
I'm SO looking forward to life forever with Jesus, the perfect Savior.
amen amen amen..me too!
I can definitely understand not wanting to use chemicals on your garden. Maybe there's something natural you could use to help the potato beetles decide they want to leave.
Hope you have a great day!

A lot of times I don't feel victorious either but thank the Lord we don't have to go by our feelings! Thanks for sharing that quote from Ms. Owens. I loved it.
Praising and thanking God with you!
God is indeed GOOD
Blessings

So great about the money raised for the trip to Kenya! Praise God!
Happy Thankful Thursday!
There is power power power in the blood and when you do something for the Lord the power will be there that is so great about raising the money
Here it is Friday. . . guess I'm not getting my TT in this week. :( Been a long busy difficult week for me. I am glad the funds have come in for the Kenya trip, with a little extra to spare! I pray that this will be a wonderful, life-changing trip for all who are going.
