There's more in the works for baby formula. Gone are the days when we had one or two choices in formulas, and those choices were very expensive.
We know that mother's milk is still the best around for baby. It always has been and always will be. But there are instances when a mother cannot nurse her baby, such as in the case of an adoption. At those times, mothers still want to know that they're doing the very best for their infants.
Comforts for Baby is a store brand formula that contains all of the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that baby needs for the first year of his life. It's fortified with iron and choline - a nutrient found naturally in mother's milk and which is linked with infant development. Other essential nutrients, such as DHA and ARA (boost mental and visual development), are found in the formula as well.
All infant formulas on the market today must meet USDA standards and Comforts is no exception.
Right now you can enter a contest to win a $10,000 scholarship, sponsored by Kroger owned food stores, for your child. Comforts has a cute little firefly as a mascot but it has no name! Can you come up with a fitting name? If so, enter it (in 25 words or less) at the Comforts for Baby website. I'm not good at this type of thing, but I think that maybe Bright Eyes might be a good one. What do you think?
