Last year I started my own website in an attempt to sell my homemade soap. I searched the internet to find a good web host and then signed up with what I hoped was the best for the amount of money that I could afford to spend. After six months I gave up on my own website.
I wish that I had researched web hosting companies a little more thoroughly. My home business needed a Windows based site that included a checkout cart. Sounds simple but it isn't. There are tons of web hosts out there but they're not all created equal.
If you're in the market for a web host, do yourself a favor and research web hosting options. Compare and contrast hosts to find an option that works for you.

What kind of Soaps do you sell? God to know about the host issue.
I think research and referrals from others is a good way to decide. In fact when I was faced with a similar dilemma, I was referred Yahoo (http://in.business.yahoo.com/), it did me some good, because I have had fewer reasons to complain than if I were to choose based on my own instinct.
