I got a few new clothes this week during a great clearance sale at Jay's Sporting Goods, where my son, Josh, works. When I tried to stuff them in my closet I realized a good cleaning was in order. I still have a large stack of hangers to find another closet to hide in.
There is no reason to keep clothes that you don't wear, haven't worn, have no intention of ever wearing. Most of my clothes are second-hand. The dresses and skirts are far too long and the shirts too low-cut for me (I'm short and can't wear these styles, especially when they're not petites sizes). The result of this "clearing out" is a fair amount of usable clothing hanging freely without being smashed together.
I need to do this with every clothes closet in the house. The boys will love me for it! (not)

Great tackle. I love when I can clean our closets out. We plan to go through the kids clothes this weekend. They out grow stuff so quickly.
Plus I am in great need of Tshirts so I can make a sample Tshirt quilt for a craft show.
I bet it'll be SO much easier to find what you're looking for in there now .. great job!
Ohhh I need to tackle my closets!
ohh is it that time of year again, out with winter in with summer. I'll be headed to the closets here in a couple of weeks as well.
Great tackle! I am getting ready to go through my closet too and take a bunch to Goodwill.
