Go See Fireproof

This is going to be short and sweet tonight. Today was homeschool support group day so two hours were spent there. Another several hours were spent doing quick housework and such. Then, my husband and I went out grocery shopping (fun, fun, fun) and a bite out. After that, we went to our church for a showing of Fireproof.

I gotta tell you that this has to be one of the best films I've seen to date. The acting is wonderful (who doesn't love Kirk Cameron?) and the plot is compelling (and believable). Above all that, the message is the best message you'll ever hear.

Our church seats 1000. The church was packed and there's another showing tomorrow night. Sunday night, Newell's showing it to the youth group. If you live anywhere near Gaylord Evangelical Free Church, come out to see the movie and you won't regret it. It's free but donations are accepted to help defray the costs. If you can't come, get the DVD, which will be out on January 27.
