My dad sends me lots of forwarded e-mails. Sometimes he sends me some useful ones :)
We seem to be finding more ticks on us upon returning from the woods than we used to. Once in a while they've begun to "stick" to somebody and have to be taken out of the skin. One of the little tips in Dad's recent e-mail is to apply a glob of liquid soap to a cotton ball. Cover the tick with the soap-soaked cotton ball and swab it for a few seconds (15-20), the tick will come out on its own and be stuck to the cotton ball when you lift it away.
It sounds like this might be another good use for soap!

Sounds like an easy one! I emailed it to Bob. Pathetic that I have to email things to him or I'll forget to tell him. Hey, it works...
