Time Island Review & Giveaway!

Time Island is a game about which you might or might not have heard. My daughter, age 9, loves to play computer games. I don't like a lot of the electronic games out there. They're either too old for her, too young, or (more often than not) not good for anyone, young or old, to play. Time Island is just about right.

So, here is what Time Island is about:

It is a virtual world where kids learn about nature and survival, while playing with other kids around the world - in a safe environment. When my daughter signed on, she didn't get immediate access to the site. I received an e-mail which contained a link that I had to first activate. I was able to read the rules before I decided if it was okay for her to play or not. I can't tell you how important it is to have parents involved in their children's online activities. THIS IS GOOD!

Amanda has had a load of fun playing with her avatar and navigating her through some pretty interesting "wild" places. I like that the game is fun, educational, and safe.

If your child would like to win a Time Island "goodie bag", you've come to the right place. I'll choose a winner from the comment section on this post - goodie bag includes bracelets, tattoos, a bandana, and more. To enter, just leave me a comment that answers this question: "What is your greatest concern when it comes to the online activities of your children?"

I'll choose a winner on August 1, 2011 via Random.org.

*I received a Time Island Fun Pack as part of a promotional program with Time Island and MomSelect. The opinions expressed are my own.*
