All Oxi-Active Detergent Giveaway!

I was blessed this week by the folks at Mom Select when they sent me a bottle of All® Oxi-Active™ detergent to test. Granted I don't use any commercial laundry detergent on a couple of my children's clothing or towels (due to their skin problems), but I DO use it for the others.


To test this detergent properly, I needed to have some really dirty laundry. No problem. My husband fried some food while I was in Indiana. He had a good fattening (and greasy) supper but he made a mess of his shirt. There were grease spatters all over it! To make matters worse, he washed and dried the shirt. Was he able to get the stains out? Of course not.


I didn't think the stains would come out of the shirt, especially since it had been put into the dryer - thus "setting" the stain. I tried anyway. I poured a little of the All® Oxi-Active™ detergent onto the spots and then rubbed the detergent into the fabric a bit. Then I washed the shirt in warm water (along with a full batch of clothes, I might add). When it came out the washer I wasn't sure if the stains were still in there or not. I dried it in the dryer.


The stains were very faint after the shirt was dried. Hmm. What would happen if I repeated the process, pretreating and then running the shirt through another wash and dry cycle? I repeated the process. The result? The stains are not to be found! I was truly amazed.
