Book Review - Duck Commander Faith and Family Bible

The Duck Commander Faith and Family Bible is published by Thomas Nelson. Editors are Phil and Al Robertson.

This is a NKJV of the Bible. The devotional aspect and notes are by Phil Robertson with his son, Al, a pastor for more than 22 years. While many people recognize Phil Robertson and his sons from Duck Dynasty (A&E reality show), some might not be so familiar with Al, the oldest son who is rarely on the show.

Do not be misled. This is not a Bible with some backwoods religion mixed in the Biblical text. Rather, it is one with 125 articles on some of the most searched topics on BibleGateway. The Robertsons give practical life applications and Scripture references to help you with your study of God's Word. Testimonials and a reading plan are also included.

If you are a fan of the King James Version but have trouble with some of the archaic language (after all, the KJV was authorized in 1611), you might really want to check out the New King James Version. The Duck Commander Faith and Family Bible is in this more readable language and is also beautifully presented. I have a certain son who is going to love receiving this Bible.

*I received a copy of The Duck Commander Faith and Family Bible in exchange for my honest opinion.*
