Hi everyone! I'm still working out of the Seasoned with Grace: My Generation of Shaker Cooking cookbook (by Eldress Bertha Lindsay). Such interesting recipes they are! I have been making some changes to the recipes - mostly eliminating so much butter - in order to make them healthier and better fit for our family. Check your library for great cookbooks such as this one.
Our house became fairly infested with fleas when my son acquired a kitten. I can't seem to rid my Yorkie of them nor the house. Ryan, Jonathon, and I have not one flea bite. However, Amanda, Jeff, and Evan are bitten to smithereens. I haven't checked with Josh to see where he sits with the little biters. Saturday, we are going to flea bomb the house. We will have to take the pets out of the house (dog, parakeet, and hamster - the kitten has found a new home) and be gone for several hours. We're going to have a cookout in the state forest nearby. Such fun when you have kids - right?
