Menu Plan Monday - September 10

I'm having trouble typing this and saving on Blogger, so I'll get straight to the menu for the week.. I am trying to incorporate more gluten-free and vegan choices - a hard thing to do with this family, as they are bread and meat lovers.

Gluten-free items are marked with an * As you can see, eating gluten-free certainly doesn't mean you have to starve.


*Mashed Potatoes
*Green Beans
*Melon Salad (melon, grapes, raspberries, strawberries)


Baked Chicken Chimichangas
*Mango Black Bean Salad
*Spanish Rice
*Bean Burgers with Salsa

Wednesday - Breakfast Night

*Omelet and Smoked Sausage Casserole
*Home Fries
*Oat Waffles (make vegan by subbing flax egg for the real egg and using rice milk)


*Pork Steaks on the grill
*Baked Potatoes
*Baked Acorn Squash
*Garden Salads


Pizza & Pop


*Burgers (gluten-free if using g.f. buns or no bun)
*Baked Beans
*Cottage Cheese with Potato Chips
