Gifting with Cards

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of FriendGiftr. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am giving people (including myself) gift cards more and more these days. Why? The best reason is that gift cards can be used to buy something that the receiver really wants. If you're like me, you don't want to waste money by purchasing something that you really love, but the person for whom you're buying it might not.

My son, Josh, moved out last weekend, as most of you already know. He is finishing up the last leg of his college program and needed some t-shirts and a quality belt. What did we do to help? More aptly, what did we NOT do? We should have purchased a gift card to Kohl's, his favorite clothing store.

I didn't realize this before, but you can get gift cards for 120 merchants at FriendGiftr. One of the merchants is Kohl's! Cards come in lots of convenient denominations - $10, $20, $25, $35, $50, $75, and $100. The most interesting thing about this, though, is that if the recipient of your gift card prefers a different merchant than the one you chose, he can exchange it (without informing, and insulting, the buyer)! Another plus is that they can not only swap out the card, they can split the gift amount among different merchants. I know of no other company that will do this.

FriendGiftr services can be used via the website, Facebook, iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android.
