This being the week we celebrate Veterans Day, I want to take the time to personally and publically thank all those who have given so much so that we can have so much. The U.S. Military is there to protect us and to protect our freedoms. We owe them a great debt of gratitude.
So THANK YOU to our veterans, past, present and future!
I also want to thank the Lord for all He gives us day to day, minute by minute.
This has been a very difficult week for us, actually the past few weeks. Our van has broken down numerous times in the last three weeks. We have tried to do our best at repairing it ourselves but even then, the cost has been out of this world. We have literally spent a little shy of $500 on those repairs. It is our only vehicle - what else can we do?
The Lord has been good to us and has kept us fed, warm and dry. I thank Him that He watches out for us. I thank Him that though it seemed impossible, the van is running tonight. Maybe it won't be tomorrow, but I can't worry about it right now. I'm out of worrying stamina.
God is still good.
