Tonight I'm not thinking clearly. My head hurts and my eyes are puffy and swollen, so I'm not even typing clearly. I came down with a pretty nasty cold in the last week, bad timing with my husband's surgery and subsequent PE.

For an update: My husband is still in intensive care but is getting better each day. Throughout the day and this evening, he has been allowed to get up and walk a little bit. We are hoping that he can go home tomorrow, but we'll have to wait and see.

Friends brought pizzas for the kids and me tonight. It is always a blessing when people do the little things that mean so much. The Bible says that faith without works is useless. (James 2:14) When we live out that which we preach, we show others what God has done for us.

"And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Matthew 25:40 (KJV)
