This is lichen that we stumbled upon in the woods today. It was everywhere! According to scientists, lichen only grows where the air quality is really good.
I picked, cleaned & froze 10 quarts of beans - aren't the purple ones pretty? Too bad they turn green when blanched. I finished up about 9:30 p.m.
