Book Review - Pirates on the Farm by Denette Fretz

Pirates on the Farm is written by Denette Fretz and is published by Zonderkidz.

In this cute (in a boyish sort of way) picture book, pirates move in to the home next door to a God-fearing family. These pirates are the typical, strange and hard to understand, pirates. They eat weird foods. They are rough and tumble. They are frightening. How should the family react to these new neighbors?

This is a story that teaches children (and their parents) that showing the love of Jesus to those who do not know Him (and are despised by those in the community) can bring those people to faith in Christ. When the Holy Spirit comes inside to dwell, even pirates can change.

If you have a child somewhere around the ages of 4 and 8, you might want to check out this delightful book. They might even like seeing the eyeballs on the table.....

*I received a copy of Pirates on the Farm in exchange for my honest opinion. Opinions expressed are my own.*
