Summer Travels and Cell Phones

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TracFone for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

My sister and her boyfriend came for a visit over Labor Day weekend. We had a ton of fun, including picking blackberries in the state forest nearby. The bears (we just have black bears here) are busy gorging themselves with the same berries that we worked hard to get. If someone were to get hurt, and I admit that the chance of that is pretty low, we would feel better knowing that we could call 911. We get cell phone coverage out there - but it's very spotty. Sometimes we have to get to higher ground to get a signal, but it's good to have some means of communicating that we need help should the need arrive.

Thankfully, if there were any bears in the area, they kept a low profile. We did see signs that they'd been there earlier, though.

Debbie's boyfriend has a TracFone cell that he brought with him. He's one of those Real TracFone customers who wants a good phone with reliable service - without spending a whole lot of money or signing up for contracts. His is an LG phone and he says that he's very happy with it and the coverage that comes with it.

You can get So many features that it's crazy, but the phones remain trim and easy to hold and use. I guess gone are the days of the plain, large phones that looked more like radios or walkie talkies than telephones.
