Menu Plan Monday - December 20

Christmas week is a special time for Christians. It is a time for us to focus on Christ's humble birth. We stand amazed at the thought that God's own Son would come down from heaven to live among sinful people. Even more amazing is the thought that He would be born sinless - a result of a Holy God as His Father and a virgin as His mother - and die with the weight of the sins of those people upon Him. The most amazing: that the sinless, perfect Son of God should wipe away those sins by conquering the enemy and rising again. Because of what He did, we can stand before God's throne "not guilty."

That, my friends, is a real cause for celebration. This week, you won't find any menu plan for Friday or Saturday. We intend to visit our families and celebrate the Lord's birth with them. I always tell everyone to fend for themselves on Sundays, so that's nothing new. Thursday evening we will exchange presents with our kids and have a snacky, fun supper.

We did not make the Stacked Enchiladas last week because my husband and I went on a $5.00 date to Culver's (buy one, get one free coupon.)

Please visit Organizing Junkie and thank her for hosting this meme. I won't see some of you until after Christmas, so let me say now, "Merry Christmas!"
