Menu Plan Monday - November 29

Today is Menu Plan Monday and is hosted by Organizing Junkie. Please visit her if you can.

Last week I switched out coconut oil for shortening and butter in my cooking and had wonderful results. As shortening goes, I had already made the switch from hydrogenated oils for palm oil. The coconut oil, however, has a better flavor than palm oil, in my own opinion. Coconut oil is particularly good in pie crust. If you haven't had a chance to enter my Tropical Traditions coconut oil giveaway yet, please do so by tonight, midnight. I'll choose a winner on Tuesday morning.
