Thankful Thursday - June 3

"O our God, will You not exercise judgment upon them? For we have no might to stand against this great company that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon You." 2 Chronicles 20:12 (Amplified Bible)

So many different decisions to make - so many roads that I could follow. How do I know which path to take? In the above passage from 2 Chronicles, King Jehoshaphat didn't know what to do concerning the armies of Moab and Ammon. Should he go to war with them? After all, they were attacking Judah and trying to drive them away from the land that God had given Israel.

Jehoshaphat said something that changed the course for Judah and can change our courses as well. "We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon You."

When you don't know what to do, when you feel lost and afraid, keep your eyes on the Lord. Keep reading and studying His Word. Keep praying. Continue to focus on Jesus. The answers will come and, when they do, will be God's good and perfect will for you.
