Now it's the Dryer

Okay, I'm sure you don't really want to see my laundry, but there's a good reason for putting this on here.

My clothes dryer quit working and it is cold enough here to snow with rain every day. They can't go outside so, voila, here they are hanging in our family room. There are clothes on backs of chairs too.

My husband has checked out everything that he knows to check. The motor is fine. There is the correct electrical juice going to the dryer. There is nothing "stuck." It must be an electronic problem.

It costs somewhere around $75 for a repairman to come and look at the dryer. We won't be doing that until paychecks rise again - sometime in the spring - unless something miraculous happens.

I'm actually a little bit excited about this. We'll save money on electricity! The only downside is the obvious embarrassment of clothing hanging in your family room when company comes over. That and teenagers wanting their blue jeans now rather than waiting 24 hours for them to dry.

I'm sure we can live with it.

Oh, dear Rita! Certainly a challenge to be without a clothes dryer, but not a challenge that can't be met. Hope your hubby can determine the problem with the dryer soon.

Thanks for stopping by to visit with me last week!
