Precious Girls Club Giveaway - Ends July 15, 2009

I read a great book with Amanda this week - Operation Kindness, the second book in the Precious Girls series (Precious Moments, Inc.). In this story written by Cindy Kenney, Katie and her pals from the club want to put on a puppet show for the kids at the local hospital - not a fundraiser but simply an act of kindness for those less fortunate. They have an obstacle, though, Mr. Boxer.

This is a cute story about some girls who decide to help other people by using their own unique talents and, with a tiny bit of guidance from others around them, get the job done. They have a lot of fun, hit a few ripples along the journey, and end up learning valuable lessons.

Amanda loves the Precious Girls Club, so much so that I allowed her to open her own "account" with preciousgirlsclub.com. This is a free, safe "virtual world" for children that allows them to pretend they're members of the club too. You can check it out anytime!

Is there a little girl in your life who would enjoy reading Operation Kindness? If so, you'll be glad to learn that I have another copy of the book to give away to one of my readers. That's not all....I'll give a plush Patches (below) along with the book!

How can you win? Leave a comment telling me for whom you'd like to win the book and plush dog. For additional entries you can:

1. Follow me on Twitter by clicking on the button on my sidebar. Let me know you did this and where in a separate comment.
2. Blog about this contest and tell me about it in a separate comment.
3. Tweet about the contest and tell me where in a separate comment.
4. Follow this blog if you have a Blogger account. If you don't have a Blogger account, you can subscribe by clicking on the "Subscribe to" button on my sidebar and let me know you did it. If you're already a subscriber or follower, just tell me in a separate comment.

This contest is open to those in the United States (sorry). I will randomly choose a winner on July 15. If you don't win, don't despair, as I have some Rainbow memberships (paid memberships) that I'll give to some who don't get chosen this time around. If you live in a country other than the U.S., feel free to tell me you'd like to win a membership and in which country you live.

**Please be sure I can easily access your e-mail address so I can contact you for your physical address should you win!**

There is a family in our church - the dad is actually a church planter and they are getting their own church this September. They are moving to Detroit Lakes and have a darling daughter. This would be great for her.

I will follow you on Twitter as well.
