Kids Fest in Branson

Okay, I have to admit that I have some sort of fascination with Branson, Missouri. I watch the show on PBS where someone from the old Lawrence Welk Show hosts and talks about his or her experiences on the show. Most often than not, this person also talks about performing in Branson. It really seems like the place to be, and I've read that a lot of Christian events are held there.

There's going to be a festival for kids, the National KidsFest, at Silver Dollar City, and it's coming up really soon - June 6th to the 9th. I would really like to take my younger children to activities like that. If we were to go, we'd need a place to stay. Reservations at any hotel or bed & breakfast are a must these days.

The Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing is really gorgeous and is located right in the entertainment district. Whenever we really do stay in a motel, we try to get one that is situated close to the places we are planning to visit. It makes it so much easier than trying to find our way via a bunch of roads with which we aren't familiar.

There is also the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel, which is located near Branson Landing. This hotel is amazing and has all of the amenities you could ever want while on vacation, like a huge swimming pool. It's what the kids always ask for.
