Thankful Thursday - March 11

"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV)

I have lots to be thankful for this week. I'm so glad that nothing slips by our Savior and that not only do I know Him, but especially that He knows me. Because of this, I can have peace knowing that He's taking care of me; I'm resting in His arms. That's a safe place to be!

This week I'm thankful for:

  • My husband who is home and gradually gaining strength each day. In a few weeks he might be back to work, providing all goes well.
  • Our church and Encounter Week, also for Dr. Jay Kessler, (Taylor University, Youth for Christ), who has been giving the message each night. We've been so blessed with godly leadership this week (and every week.)
  • Our new furnace and the donor who gave it to us. We're staying warm now and doing so much more safely. It's to get down to 3 degrees Fahrenheit tonight!
  • For all of the people I can talk to when I need a listening ear. Man is not meant to be alone!

I do not know all that has been going on but praise God He has known and is bringing you through it. It sounds like our marvelous God at work again. Praying your husband heals completely - quickly. Blessings!
