I am all for the mushroom hunting...just not the dehydrating part. Hopefully we can get up there this spring!
Ten years ago our morels didn't appear until almost Memorial Day. Last year, I spotted a few starting in late March, but never in February.
Still snow here...no mushrooms..Great pic!
My dad always went mushrooming. Probably not as far north as you, but his parents lived in Rapid City. I never did develop a taste for them. But I always thought they were cool looking.
