Engine Oil Disposal

It is illegal and a bad idea to pour used engine and motor oil on the ground, but because of the high cost of paying someone else to change engine oil, a lot of people change their own. You can save a lot money this way, but then what do you do with the used oil?

Did you know that you can dispose of your used motor oil at Tractor Supply stores nationwide (USA)? Unless you are a a consumer of super large quantities of oil, you can bring your used oil to your local store and they will dispose of it for you, for free!

Many cities have curbside recycling of motor oil, which is a great service. That's all I really know about this topic, as I've never owned a car!

Thanks for joining us for Thrifty Green Thursday this week!

That's great! I hope to be back up and ready for next Thursday!

I went to Shipshe with my cousin today and had a good time. It was a great way to unwind after this VERY stressful week.
